Rocky attended the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and retired in 1986 from Cummins Engine Company.

He was a United States Army veteran of WWII, where he received the Purple Heart.

He raised cattle, pigs and turkeys for Perdue, Swift, Armor and Co-Op. He enjoyed watching any type of sporting events including I.U. basketball and he also enjoyed NASCAR.

Memorial donations: Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Riley Hospital, Schneck Medical Center Foundation: Hospice or the VA Hospital (6th floor), Louisville, KY.
